Taliesin Arts Centre is a venue and creative organisation owned, operated and funded by Swansea University.
Taliesin (Welsh for ‘shining brow’) is situated on Swansea University’s campus on Mumbles road. It has it’s own cinema and next week it’s hosting a free dance event in the Marina:

“From traditional and contemporary dance, street performance, and circus, Dance Days 2025 has plenty for all ages, including opportunities to join in, from circus skills, to samba, and even a maypole dance!”
I’m definitely going to try and make it this year.
There is so much going on in and around the Taliesin. For example podcast making and creative writing sessions are available, plus so many great films to watch. PLUS they are hosting this free music event at the National Waterfront Museum on 7th June:
